Dr. Peets Teams with Smiles For Life to Make Children Smile
People everywhere have the desire to give. They do so to help friends, neighbors and even strangers. They donate to causes everyday and never expect to get anything in return.
It’s not often that these people get the chance to help others while helping themselves. But from February 1st through May 31st, local dentist Dr. Norman Peets is presenting everyone with a unique opportunity to have their teeth whitened while donating the entire cost of the procedure to children’s charities.
As a member of an organization of leading edge dentists called the Crown Council, Dr. Peets is participating in the 2002 Smiles For Life Campaign
to raise money for children with serious health conditions and learning disabilities.
The Crown Council is an alliance of dentists from throughout the United States and Canada that pride themselves on providing superior dental care and active community involvement. Since 1998, the Crown Council’s Smile For Life Foundation has donated nearly $12 million dollars to the 116 children’s charities across North America.
Through a unique partnership with legendary entertainer Garth Brooks and his Teammates For Kids Foundation, Smiles For Life is able to guarantee that all of the money raised by Crown Council members like Dr. Peets goes to the children’s charities in this community and communities across North America. Together they are making a difference and giving children the gift of smile.
“Dentists and their office teams do everything for free, the people at Discus Dental donate all of the supplies, and the kids get 100% of the money, “ explains Greg Anderson, Director of the Crown Council. “Best of all, children get a reason to smile. Everyone involved benefits.”
Dr. Peets emphasizes how simple the process is: “The teeth whitening procedure is painless and only requires a few minutes in the office to complete. Those minutes that you spend in the chair can help touch a child’s life forever.”
“I’m ready and my team is ready to whiten people’s teeth for a great cause, “ Dr. Peets continues, “and I’m excited about meeting people who want to help children.”
To whiten your teeth and brighten the life of a child, contact Dr. Peets and schedule an appointment before the end of May.

We Treat People, Not Just Teeth

Dr Norman Peets and Team, along with recording artist Garth Brooks, would like to thank all the Gainesville residents who participating in their “Smiles for Life” charity campaign.
Dr Peets and his staff have raised over $150,000 in the last four years for children’s charities.
The dental “Smiles for Life Foundation” has merged with Garth Brooks’ “Teammates for Kids Foundation” to raise over ten million dollars to help children. What’s great about this charity is that all the administrative expenses are paid by Mr Brooks so that 100% of the money we raise goes directly to the children, with 50% going to Challenged Child here in Gainesville.
